May 4: The price of gold in the domestic market has reached an all-time high on Thursday with an increase of Rs 1,200 per tola (11.66 grams) compared to the previous trading day.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price for hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 111,800 per tola for Thursday while the price of worked gold is Rs 111,250. Hallmark gold was traded for Rs 110,600 on Wednesday.
Similarly, the price of silver has reached Rs 1,445 per tola with a rise of Rs 20 compared to Wednesday.
