According to Tasi Chhiring Sherpa of Ghunsa, the snowfall occurred in the area on Tuesday night, too. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Tenzing Walung of Olangchung Gola said snow has been piled up to two feet in Yanga. Yanga, a part of Olangchung Gola, lies at an altitude of 4,200 meters. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Similarly, a tri-junction of Taplehung, Tehrathum and Sakhuwasabha districts known as Tinjure-Milke-Jalhale also reported snowfall. In addition to this, the people of Mikwakhola and Sidingawa said they witnessed snowfall in the highlands. However, this year snowfall is relatively less compared to the previous year. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Farmers here are happy due to the rain and snowfall as they take it as a favour from the nature during the season for cultivation. They said the snowfall is good for cash crops such as cardamom and also for vegetable farming. -- RSS </span></span></span></p>
