April 28: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has announced the appointment of Dinesh Thakali as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from May 28, 2023.  Thakali's appointment was made by the bank's Board of Directors during a meeting held on Wednesday.

Thakali is a highly experienced banking professional with a proven track record of leading successful financial institutions.

Prior to his new role, he served as Deputy General Manager at Prabhu Bank Limited for two years before working as Managing Director at Prabhu Capital for an additional two years. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Shangrila Development Bank.

Thakali is a chartered accountant with extensive knowledge of banking and capital markets, as well as experience in managing bank loans and deposit marketing.

Thakali holds a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Tribhuvan University. He has also completed courses on banking and management from institutions such as the World Bank, AIT Thailand, and the London School of Economics.

Thakali's appointment as CEO of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank is for a four-year term, during which he will be responsible for leading the bank's growth and expansion strategies.

The bank's Board of Directors expressed confidence in Thakali's ability to drive the bank's success and deliver value to its customers and stakeholders.
