Nabil Bank CEO Dhungana Felicitated with ‘Prabal Janasewa Shree Award’ 

April 17: Gyanendra Prasad Dgungana, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank, has been honoured with prestigious ‘Prabal Janasewa Shree medal’. 

In recognition of his outstanding contribution to the banking sector in Nepal, President Ram Chandra Poudel conferred Dhungana with ‘Prabal Janasewa Shree medal’. 

The medal was awarded to CEO Dhungana on the occasion of Constitution Day of 2079 and distributed to him on the occasion of New Year 2080. 

Dhungana has more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector. He has been leading the Nabil Bank as the CEO since Ashad 2079 after the merger of the then Nepal Bangladesh Bank with Nabil Bank. Prior to this, Dhungana served as the CEO of Nepal Bangladesh Bank for ten years. 

Additionally, Dhungana has served as the President of Nepal Bankers’ Association. He has also worked as a Director of Nepal Rastra Bank. 

Dhungana has finished Chartered Accountancy (CA) from India, Certificate Public Accountant (CPA) from Australia and has Master’s in Financial Analysis.
