April 11: Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank provided a booth built for shoe menders in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan Ward-3 Office and Jod Initiative located in Bansbari, Kathmandu last Wednesday.
“The motto of the booth is to provide a convenient place for the local entrepreneurs run their businesses,” said the bank.
Krishna Raj Chalise, Member of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No-3, had inaugurated the booth.
The booth was handed over to Naresh Mahara, a shoe mender from Bansbari.
“The bank has set the goal to give a systematic place to shoe menders and help them in earning a living under its corporate social responsibility,” the bank informed.
