March 31: Businessman Sanjay Agarwal has been elected as the President of Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The ninth annual general meeting of the chamber held in Kathmandu elected a 28-member working committee unopposed under the leadership of Agarwal.

Araniko Rajbhandari has been elected as the senior vice president of the association. The chamber informed that Niraj Shrestha and Manoj Gyawali were elected as the two vice presidents of the chamber, Tirtha Bahadur Roka as the general secretary, Pawan Aggarwal as the treasurer and Romnath Ghimire and Manoj Shrestha Badel as the two secretaries. Rajeshkaji Shrestha is the patron, Dhruva Kumar Shrestha is the honorary member and Navraj Dhakal is the outgoing president.

Arun KC, Anna Maria, Basumaya Tamang, Bina Pyakurel Shrestha, Bhuvneshwar Faiju, Binod Sagatani and Birendra Shahi have been selected as the members of the working committee. Similarly, Kishan Sunar, Kishore Bhattarai, Samba Lama, Sanjay Aggarwal Sarraf, Sarik Bogati, Shambhu Lama, Sumit Dhanuk, Sushil Jain, Subhas Bikram Shah and Yugesh Bade Shrestha have also been elected as members.
