March 5: Two earthquakes were recorded to have taken place in two different parts of the country this morning. The epicenters of the earthquakes were located at Patalkot of Achham and Kashikhand of Kavrepalanchok districts, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur, Kathmandu.
The earthquake measuring 4.4 in the Richter scale occurred at 8:35 am in Achham while a magnitude 4.3 earthquake occurred in Kavrepalanchok at 8:03 am this morning (Sunday).
There has been a rise in incidents of earthquakes in different parts of the country of late. -- RSS
