February 21: Business House GTC Overseas has brought showrooms of tiles, bath ware and lighting into operation in Birgunj. GTC Overseas has opened showroom of Somany and Jaquar products from India.

Of late, demand of tiles, marbles, bathroom and electric decoration for house construction has increased and their market too has grown rapidly. 

GTC has opened two showrooms of the Somany and Jaquar products at Adarshanagar, Birgunj, said GTC Overseas Managing Director Ashok Lath.

The estimated market of tiles, marbles and bathware is worth more than Rs 25 billion in Nepal. Somany Ceramics Nepal Chief Rupesh Manot said that the showroom was opened targeting the customers in and around Birgunj.
“We have been selling our products in Nepal for the last 30 years and we are planning to establish an industry in Bhairahawa,” said Manot. Jaquar Nepal Chief Naresh Manohat claimed that 23 years of transaction had won customers’ trust in Nepal. 

Focused on sanitary goods used in the bathroom and electronic goods used at home, the company has expanded its production units in India, China, South Korea, Italy and Turkey, according to Naresh Manohat.
