<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, the earthquake measuring 4.8 in the Richter scale jolted Taplejung at 4.30 am this morning. The tremor was felt in Taplejung and its adjoining districts. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Faktanglung-7 ward chair Chheten Lama informed that no damage has been so far reported in Olangchungola due to the earthquake. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">It may be noted that a 5.4 magnitude earthquake had struck the district two years ago with its epicenter at Olangchungola in February 9, 2021. -- RSS </span></span></span></p>
