February 8: The price of gold has increased by Rs 200 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Wednesday compared to the previous trading day. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of fine gold at Rs 104,800 per tola for Wednesday. On Tuesday, the precious yellow metal was traded at 104,600 per tola.
Likewise, the standard gold is being traded at Rs 104,300 per tola..
Similarly, the price of silver plummeted by Rs 5 per tola on Wednesday compared to Tuesday’s price and is being traded at Rs 1,315 per tola.
The federation sets the prices of gold and silver on a daily basis based on the prices in the international market. -- RSS
