<p><span style="font-size:18px">The CAN Infotech includes programs such as branding of various ICT goods and services, product launching, IT career counseling for students. The Infotech is expected to draw around 350,000 visitors. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:18px">Highlighting the need to increase the use of IT in the delivery of basic services to the people, the Minister said the use of IT had its greater role in maintaining transparency in the public service delivery system.<br />
Minister Sharma assured that government would give priority to make Nepal’s IT sector more competitive by drafting required laws pertaining to the IT. </span></p>

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 25th edition of INFO Developers CAN Infotech-2023, Federation of Computer Association Nepal General Secretary Ranajit Kumar Podar drew the government attention to promote domestic software companies and focus on their capacity building. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px">“I urge the government to encourage the use of Nepal-made software in the government offices and give emphasis on the capacity building of the human resources,” Podar added.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px">The CAN Infotech includes programs such as branding of various ICT goods and services, product launching, IT career counseling for students. The Infotech is expected to draw around 350,000 visitors. </span></p>
