January 19: Sipradi Trading, the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, recently orgagnised the Nexon EV Range Test 2023 Programme from Butwal to Bhairahawa with the objective of promoting electric vehicles, which the company  believes will help protect environment and also ensure sustainable economic development.

Issuing a statement, the company said that there was enthusiastic participation of Nexon EV customers during the programme. Subash Khadka scored 397 Wh/Km along the Butwal-Bhairahawa road section to top the list of participants. Likewise, Gopal Sharma finished second with 387 Wh/Km range and Subodh Bhattarai secured third position with 378 Wh/Km range. Only 22 participants were able to score more than 300 range during the programme, the company said in the statement.

The top drivers with maximum range for minimum consumption of energy were provided attractive gift hampers by Sipradi Trading. First-placed Khadka bagged an LED TV while second place finisher Sharma was awarded a Samsung oven.
