January 19: Light rainfall with partial to general changes in weather would occur across the country today (January 19) due to the influence of the westerly low pressure system.    
The mountainous belt including that of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces would witness partial to general changes and the remaining areas would see partial changes and clear weather. Likewise, light rain is predicted in one or two places of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.    
Similarly, there is a chance of light snowfall in some places of high mountainous and hill areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces and one to two places of high mountainous and hill areas of the remaining provinces.    
According to the department, partial to general changes in weather would occur in mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces. Light rain is predicted to take place in a few places of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces.    
Today, the minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley is predicted to be around 4.2 degrees centigrade and maximum temperature at 15 degrees centigrade.
