January 8: Following the directive of the Ministry of Home Affairs, District Administration Office (DAO) Kapilvastu has shut down as many as 15 illegally operating crusher industries in the district.</p>
<p>Ministry of Home Affairs had sent the circulars to all 77 DAOs to shut down the illegal crusher industries on January 4. <br />
Out of the total 33 crusher industries in the district, fifteen were closed down after the circular while remaining eighteen industries had not been operating for sometimes. </p>
<p>Kapilvastu CDO Dharmendra Kumar Mishra said DAO had shut down fifteen illegally operating crusher industries on January 5. <br />
Some crusher industries are operating without renewing their permission. Police personnel will monitor and inspect such industries and close them down, according to CDO Mishra. </p>
<p>Eleven crusher industries located in Shivraj Municipality, two at Bijaynagar Rural Municipality and one each at Budhhabhumi Municipality and Krishna Nagar Municipality have been closed down. <br />
