December 22: Regular flights were disrupted for some hours at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) due to foggy weather in the Kathmandu Valley since early morning on Thursday.    
Both domestic and international flights to and from the TIA were interrupted since the morning.    
TIA General Manager Premnath Thakur said some flights were diverted due to bad weather.

"Some aircraft arriving to the TIA were diverted due to bad weather and poor visibility," he shared, adding that both domestic and international flights were operated smoothly after the weather condition improved.
