Buddha Air Seeks Permission for Ground Handling of Pokhara Airport

December 4: Buddha Air, a private air service provider company, has submitted an application to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal to allow ground handling at the Pokhara Regional International Airport. The company has sought permission for ground handling of both domestic and international flights operated from Pokhara Airport.

Buddha Air has expressed its commitment to provide quality service to domestic and international airlines. The company, which has made Pokhara as its new hub, informed that all internal preparations have been completed for flights from the soon-to-be-opened international airport. The government has announced to operate the airport from January 1, 2023. The company said that it will contribute to bringing in more domestic and foreign tourists by making full use of the airport.

Buddha Air had made a schedule of 300 weekly flights, in which domestic flights will be operated to Nepalgunj, Bhairahawa, Bharatpur and Bhadrapur every day. Similarly, the company mentioned that there will be a flight to Benaras, India, three days a week on the international route.
