November 18: Technical glitches in a twin otter on Friday disrupted a domestic flight of Nepal Airlines. The twin otter flown to Bhojpur from Kathmandu had to be returned midway due to technical problems, according to NAC Spokesperson Archana Khadka.
There were 15 passengers onboard. It is the only plane used for domestic flights by the state-owned airline company. Due to the problem, all domestic flights of NAC were canceled. Even the flights scheduled for Saturday have been canceled. Following the cancellation of flights, NAC has assured that the airfare paid by the passengers would be returned.
Although the NAC has three twin otters, one is in no condition to fly while the other one has not been repaired for a long time. -- RSS
