<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Chairman Chaulagain said that it took four days for them to reach Gididaha from the headquarters of the rural municipality. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Chairman Chaulagain said that it took four days for them to reach Gididaha from the headquarters of the rural municipality. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">“We held a conference in Gididaha with the participation of the government team and journalists,” said Chaulagain. </span></span></p>

However, the state has not been able to pay proper attention for the infrastructure development as well as promotion of this potential tourist destination.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">A government team recently visited Gididaha for the first time for its promotion. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Chairman of the rural municipality, Nanda Prasad Chaulagain informed that a team comprising of people’s representatives, government employees, engineers, local residents and journalists visited Gididaha of Tatopani Rural Municipality to find out the prospect of tourism promotion in the area.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Chairman Chaulagain said that it took four days for them to reach Gididaha from the headquarters of the rural municipality. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">“We held a conference in Gididaha with the participation of the government team and journalists,” said Chaulagain. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Gididah is located 3,482 meters above the sea level. The length, width and depth of this lake has not yet been measured, informed Chaulagain.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Amar Bahadur Rokaya, the ward chairman, said that he went to Gididaha for the first time with the aim of drawing the attention of the state and the federal government to develop tourism infrastructure in this area. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Chief administrative officer Milan Budha Thapa said that a 14-point declaration was issued after the Gididaha trip.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Shedding light on the declaration, Chaulagain said that there is a plan to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for the development of the lake. There is also a plan to spread the word about other lakes, religious areas, herbal plants, flora, fauna, and birds in the area. Initiatives will be taken in collaboration between the federal, provincial and local governments as well as non-governmental organisations to promote tourism in Gididaha. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">According to Tatopani Rural Municipality, road will be constructed through Gidikhola village to Phulchale Patan, Lamachaur and a bicycle trail to Gididaha in a bid to promote tourism in this mesmerizing place.</span></span></p>
