September 13: The Government of Nepal has decided to provide relief materials worth Rs 20 billion to Pakistan, which has been hit hard by floods and landslides.
Issuing a press statement on Monday, Spokesperson at Ministry of Home Affairs, Phanindra Mani Pokhrel, confirmed that the government has decided to providing relief materials to Pakistan in view of the huge loss of lives and properties due to the recent floods and inundation in the neighbouring country.
The relief materials are being provided as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on September 6. Nepal has also expressed condolence to the bereaved family members who lost their loves ones in the disaster, and wished for speedy recovery of the injured. -- RSS
