<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">The government tables the economic survey in the Federal Parliament some days before tabling the annual budget. As per the constitutional provision, the government tables the annual budget on the Republic Day on Jestha 15, which falls on May 29 (today) this year. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">As stated in the Economic Survey, a total of 621 megawatts of hydroelectricity including 456 megawatt from the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project has been linked to the national transmission line till the first nine months of the current fiscal year. The government has a target to link 1,629 megawatt of power to the national grid. -- RSS </span><br />
