May 9: The Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) on Sunday informed that domestic flights will remain closed on May 13 considering the shutdown of all kinds of transportation services on the day of local election.    
Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the association's spokesperson Yograj Kandel said flights for humanitarian rescue and flights conducted at the instruction of the government will be operated in line with the Standard Related to Vehicular Movement Management, 2022.    
"It is notified that air services for domestic flights by airline companies associated with the association will be closed on May 13, 2022," reads the statement.

The association also apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
