March 25: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has categorized the listed companies into A, B, G and Z classes.
There are 25 commercial banks, 4 development banks, 2 finance companies, 1 microfinance company, 3 hydropower companies and one production and processing company included in A category.
Similarly, 2 finance companies, 4 microfinance companies, 2 hydropower companies, 1 hydroelectricity investment and development company are included in class B. Meanwhile, 8 microfinance companies, 5 life insurances, 3 non-life insurances, 14 hydropower, Chandragiri hills, 4 companies of investment group and Nepal reinsurance company are included in the class G.
Class Z includes one commercial bank i.e. NIC Asia Bank, 12 development banks, 16 finance companies, 40 microfinance companies, 7 life insurance companies, 15 non-life insurance companies, 28 hydropower companies, Citizens Investment Trust, 4 companies of trade group, 18 companies of production and processing group, 4 companies of hotel and tourism group, and 2 companies of other group.
