<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">The MoU was signed by Secretary at Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development Dr Govinda Prasad Sharma on behalf of Nepal and by Rajesh Kumar Chaturvedi, secretary at the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers of the Government of India, according to the Kathmandu-based Indian Embassy. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">According to a statement issued by the India Embassy, the MoU was signed between the two sides in a virtual ceremony held on Monday in the presence of Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Mahindra Raya Yadav and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif"">The understanding between the two sides is expected to address the recurring problem of fertilizer shortage in Nepal. The MoU is another milestone in bilateral economic cooperation between India and Nepal and reflects India's priorities for Nepal, the embassy added. -- RSS</span></span></p>
