<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">HAN made such appeal after the government cancelled the licence of Hotel Yak and Yeti to operate casino after it failed to pay Rs 420 million in royalty. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">A team led by HAN President Shreejana Rana recently held talks with minister Ale and discussed the current issues faced by the tourism sector, according to a statement issued by HAN. During the meeting, President Rana apprised the minister of HAN's role in the development, promotion and protection of the country's tourism sector. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS","sans-serif"">Stating that any individual or institution should not avoid its responsibility to pay revenues and taxes to the state as per the laws, HAN however drew that government’s attention to the cancellation of the five-star hotel’s license arguing that the decision has affected the staff and other people related to the casino and their salaries have been withheld.</span></span></span></p>
