A secretarial-level agreement will be signed during Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's visit to India.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Due to the high prices of fertilizer in the international market, its impact can be seen in Nepal as well. There is a shortage of chemical fertilizers in Nepal as the contractors have not been able to bring fertilizers due to the price hike.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">Similarly, the government has fixed the minimum support price of sugarcane. The cabinet meeting has decided to fix the price of sugarcane at Rs 590 per quintal. According to Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Yadav, the ministry fixed the price after holding discussions with the sugarcane farmers and the sugar mills. The proposal to fix the price of sugarcane was submitted to the Council of Ministers by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.</span></span></p>
