August 29: Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) College, Khulamtar has introduced courses of Birmingham University at the college. British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Pollitt introduced the courses in the presence of Mayor of Lalitpur Chiri Babu Maharjan amid a programme at the college on Friday, August 27, the college said in a statement.

The statement says that the college is the first educational institute of Nepal to collaborate with Birmingham University.

Under this agreement, Birmingham University will provide Masters of Business Administration and BSc in Computer and Information Technology courses through the college at affordable cost.

Launching the courses at the college British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Pollitt extended best wishes and long-lasting collaboration between the two institutes.

AITM College is a private institute that has been providing international-level undergraduate courses. Established in 2012, this college is operated by acclaimed intellectuals and scholars who have more than three decades of experience in the field of education, according to the statement issued by the college.

The college claims that its infrastructure is also of international standard.

The statement further says that AITM College has been providing high-standard education in collaboration with IMI University of Switzerland.

The college added that it firmly believes in multinational and multicultural values and principle and aims to collaborate with other international institutions in the future. The college intends to produce skilled manpower in the country and also to attract foreign students.
