<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS"">He shared that study is underway to conduct water transportation in the Karnali, Narayani, Kaligandaki and Koshi Rivers and connect India via waterways. The government is actively involved in implementing the agreement, treaty and the international commitment relating to water transportation, RSS quoted the minister as saying. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS"">"Nepal has been making efforts since a long time to conduct water transportation," Minister Nembang said, reminding that Nepal had brought the Act on Operation of Ship way back in 1971. He further said the present government has given top priority to the water transportation. </span><br />
<span style="font-family:"Arial Unicode MS"">Moreover, Minister Nembang argued that transportation is the basic infrastructures to ensure development and prosperity in the country. </span><br />
