November 12: Kumari Bank Limited has provided scholarships to the underprivileged students of Kamalpokhari-based Shree Kamal Aadharbhut School in Kathmandu. The bank said in a statement that it also provided 5 sets of computer to the school amid a recent function.
According to the bank, the activity was intended to facilitate the students attain quality education. During the function, the bank also provided scholarship to Tulsi Ram Chand, an outstanding student of grade IX, upon the request of both the school and the student himself.
The bank’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Rajib Giri handed over the computers and cheque to the school’s Principal Man Bahadur Khadka.
Under its corporate social responsibility, Kumari Bank has pledged to bring “better and more impactful contributions” to the society in the days ahead.
The bank has been providing its services through a network of 112 branch branches, 100 ATMs, 17 branchless banking units and three extension counters across the country.
