October 22: Hansraj Hulaschand and Company Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has introduced anti-lock braking system (ABS) in its all new Pulsar NS 200.
Anti-lock braking system has become increasingly important to ensure road safety for two-wheelers, the company said in a statement.
According to the company, the efficacy of ABS system in preventing locking of wheels and offering greater control to the rider even in wet roads has been proven beyond doubt.
“A two-wheeler equipped with ABS will always be safer to operate as it reduces braking distance and prevents sliding and skidding of bike not only in treacherous road conditions, or in case of an emergency, but also in everyday riding scenarios,” the statement added.
The company said it lessens chances of injury to the rider and increases bike stability. Further it reduces the risk of bike crashing.
The introductory price of Pulsar NS 200 ABS is Rs 334,900 and is available in all authorized showrooms of HH Bajaj across the country.
