August 25: TVS brand has appointed popular Nepali youth icons Swastima Khadka and Pradeep Khadka as the brand ambassadors of its new product TVS NTORQ 125 scooter.
Jagadamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS brand in Nepal, made the announcement amid a function in the capital on Friday, August 23.
According to Jagadamba Motors, the TVS NTORQ 125 boasts off an exclusive technology platform – TVS SmartXonnect.
R Dilip, executive vice president for international business at TVS Motor Company, said that the company is expecting the visibility of the brand to increase multi-fold with the appointment of Swastima and. Pradeep as the brand ambassadors.
During the signing ceremony of this association, Swastima Khadka expressed her delight at being the new brand ambassador of TVS NTORQ 125 and described the scooter as her favourite ride.
“I am enthralled by the stylish look of the scooter and the smart features such as navigation assist, caller ID function and look forward to the association,” a press statement issued by the company quoted her as saying.
Pradeep Khadka shared, “It is an eye-catching scooter and I look forward to experiencing the smart features and performance of the brand.”
According to the company, the TVS NTORQ 125 comes with the new generation CVTi-REVV 124.79cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled SOHC engine that churns out 6.9kW@7500 rpm/9.4 PS @7500 rpm and 10.5 Nm@5500 rpm.
The statement added that the additional valve in the engine accentuates the performance of the scooter which boasts of a top speed of 95 kmph and an excellent acceleration, together with a unique exhaust note.
The scooter also features the TVSSmartXonnect, an innovative bluetooth-enabled technology which is paired to an exclusive NTORQ mobile App which can be downloaded from google play store.
“Taking cue from the design of a stealth aircraft, TVS NTORQ 125 embodies a sharp, aggressive style with a signature tail and LED tail lamps,” the statement added.
