The company said in a statement that it and also gave its distributors a tour around the factory with information about the production process and quality control.</p> <p>During the event held on November 28, Shiv Ratan Sharda, chairperson of the company, announced the establishment of a factory that can produce 40 tonnes of 8 to 32 mm steel rebars in just an hour. He also shared that the factory would run for 20 hours with four hours for maintenance.</p> <p>According to Sharda, the factory will be using the most sophisticated and advanced machinery from India to produce steel rebars.</p> <p>Anupam Rathi, the director of the company, said that the company had planned to establish the factory more than three years ago but was postponed due to the mega earthquake and the economic blockade.</p> <p>Meanwhile, technical director of the company Abhijeet Singh said that the factory will be using only prime billet as raw material to produce TMT rods to maintain utmost quality. He added that the company will be using the rolling technique to eliminate human error while production. He also mentioned that Premier Steel will import raw materials from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal.</p> <p>The company said it aims to produce material for the entire country in the wake of the earthquakes and the rise in building of mega projects in the country.</p> <p>“Arun 3 will need more than just one factory for material. Thus, there is no denying that there will be huge need of more rod and cement in the country in the coming days,” the statement added.</p> <p>Premier Steel in a joint venture of Sharda Group and Rathi Group. The operators claimed to have been generating steel for more than 36 years. The same egg is sold at Rs 12 to Rs 15 in Kathmandu.</p> <p>Similarly, another poultry farmer Laxman Koju of Bhaktapur has been supplying the eggs in the market for Rs 9 per piece. </p> <p>Trilochan Kandel, chairman of Nepal Egg Production Association said, “We determine the wholesale and retail price of eggs so that the consumers are not cheated.” According to Kandel, consumers are being cheated because of lack of market monitoring by the government. </p> <p>Ishwar Shrestha, egg trader of Bageshwori Suppliers, Banepa claimed that the price of eggs is stable. He said that he has been paying Rs 1,600 to Rs 1,700 for a carton of eggs.</p> <p>“We have been selling the eggs with a profit margin of Rs 50 per carton to the retailers,” he said. </p> <p>Ranichuri Retail Shop and Ganesh Departmental Store situated at Babarmahal, Kathmandu have been selling eggs for Rs 15 and Rs 11 per piece respectively. According to Article 108 of the Criminal Code Act, there is a provision of 5 years jail and a fine of Rs 50,000 to those who sell the products in high prices, said Jyoti Baniya, chairman of Forum for Protection of Consumers’ Rights. He said that the consumers should file complain against those who sell eggs in high prices. He added that the company will be using the rolling technique to eliminate human error while production. He added that the company will be using the rolling technique to eliminate human error while production. He also mentioned that Premier Steel will import raw materials from Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal.</p> <p>The company said it aims to produce material for the entire country in the wake of the earthquakes and the rise in building of mega projects in the country.</p> <p>“Arun 3 will need more than just one factory for material.
