However, the schedules for train operation are still unknown.</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The Nepal Railway Company operated Indian train on Sunday in order to test the tracks for the operation of inter-country railway service. Guru Bhattarai, the general manager of the company said that the train from Jayanagar station in Bihar, India to Janakpur’s Kurtha station in Nepal arrived in 23 minutes, with the speed of around 60 km per hour. He added, the speed of the train was 115 km per hour while returning from Kurtha station in Janakpur.</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">"Testing and certification is the responsibility of the Indian side," he said. The SSF has intensified the process of drafting the work procedure to include workers from informal sector in the contribution-based Social Security Fund. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Act reads "Informal sector workers and self-employed people can participate in the scheme by contributing a specific amount after the Ministry publishes notice in the Nepal Gazette on the recommendation of the SSF committee."</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">According to the Act, the SSF is also authorized to collaborate with cooperatives, community associations and other business associations for the purpose of involving informal sector workers and self-employed persons in the social security scheme.
