<p style="text-align:justify">A family source quoting Koirala&rsquo;s private doctor Karbir Nath Yogi said the septuagenarian leader died of cardiac arrest. Meanwhile, sources also said that Koirala was suffering from pneumonia and bronchitis for the past three months and was on antibiotics.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;Everything was normal till Monday evening, the amount of oxygen being administrated to him was increased,&rdquo; the family source said, &ldquo;He had a normal meal Monday evening. All of sudden, his health deteriorated and he breathed his last at 12:50 am.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Koirala was born to Bodh Prasad Koirala and Kuminidi Koirala on 12 August 1939 in Banaras, India. He was unmarried and known to live a simple life.&nbsp;He served as the country&rsquo;s 37<sup>th</sup> Prime Minister from 11 February 2014 to 10 October 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">His body has been kept at the NC Headquarters in Sanepa for the party cadres and general public to pay the socialist leader the last respects.&nbsp;NC has postponed its upcoming General Convention following Koirala&rsquo;s demise. The party&rsquo;s General Secretary Prakashman Singh informed the media that the convention has been put off until further notice.<br />

<p>At a meeting held in the capital on Monday, the frontdecided to withdraw all its stern forms of resistance, citing a need of paying heed to the recent crisisfacing the country and abiding by the people&rsquo;s needs and aspirations. Issuing a statement in this regard, the front added that it reached the decision also by keeping in mindthe people&rsquo;s feedback. All the parties affiliated to the front, except the Sadbhawana Party, have lent their signatures on the statement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has welcomed the front&rsquo;s decision to withdraw its protest programs. A statement issued by the premier&rsquo;s press advisor Pramod Dahal on Monday reads that the Prime Minister has termed the front&rsquo;s decision as a positive one. In the statement, Prime Minister Oli has also requested all protesting factions to come for dialogue, citing that any kind of dispute could be resolved via talks and consensus. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa too has welcomed the front&rsquo;s announcement to call off its agitation programs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The front however has unveiled its other forms of resistance programs, despite withdrawing the tactics including border blockade and general shutdown. Its new set of programs slated to begin from 12th of February include protest rallies and assemblies, signature campaigns among others.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;The balance of economic power has shifted from Europe and America to Asia; and China is leading that in Asia,&rdquo; said Prof Chon, &ldquo;Asia&rsquo;s tourism industry, too, should take a lead in this transformation.&rdquo; The workshop, titled &lsquo;Human Resource Development in Tourism Industry&rsquo;, was organised by PATA Nepal Chapter at GATE College in Kathmandu.</p>

<p>Stating that the number of Asian tourists travelling to different countries around the world has been rising, Prof Chon said Asia itself is a huge market as 80 percent of the tourists of Asia are from the same continent.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Now, the &lsquo;rainbow tourism&rsquo; led by Asian tourists is growing in the whole world. This is a concept of diversity in tourists in terms of colour, features and languages,&rdquo; said Chon.</p>

<p>He added that though the American and European tourists formed a majority of tourists visiting the Asian countries in the past, now the number of tourists from China, India and other Asian countries is rising sharply.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As the West was a major source of tourists for this area in the past, the high-level managers of our hotels would be westerners. But now we have started producing our own competent human resource required by the hospitality industry. The local human resource has to take the leadership now,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Speaking on the occasion, chief executive officer of Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi said &nbsp;China and India are not just the two most populous countries of the world but also huge markets for Nepali tourism.</p>

<p>Similarly, PATA Nepal Chapter President Suman Pandey said Nepal needs to go ahead adopting a special strategy to revive its tourism industry which has been badly hit by the April 2015 earthquakes and India&rsquo;s unofficial blockade.</p>

<p>Likewise, CEO of GATE College, Khem Lakai said as tourism played a major role in Nepal&rsquo;s economy, revival of the tourism industry meant the revival of the whole economy.</p>

<p>The workshop was attended by 200 students from nine different hotel management colleges and other stakeholders of the tourism industry.</p>

<p>Tourism Officer at ACAP, Reshmi Acharya, said that a total of 20,233 tourists from the SAARC region arrived in the trekking route in 2014 while the number from the third countries was 109,000 in the same year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&lsquo;Indian visitors top the number in the SAARC region. They arrive in the route to visit Muktinath and Kagbeni religious shrines in Mustang district&rdquo; Acharya added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the ACAP, most of the tourists visiting the trekking route in 2015 were from Germany, Australia, Israel and the USA.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The project has started its test production recently by completing the entire construction works.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Administrative Officer of the project, Basanta Poudel, said that the power generated from the project would be connected to the national transmission grid after fixing the technical pitfalls traced in course of the test production.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The power would be linked to the central transmission line at the Kodak-based substation of Kabeli corridor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Sanima Mai Hydropower Project has already produced and linked 22 megawatt electricity to the national grid in October 2015.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The project that started its construction works some five years ago has been completed in the slated timeframe with the investment of Rs 1.25 billion, Administrative Officer Poudel said. RSS&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;Everything was normal till Monday evening, the amount of oxygen being administrated to him was increased,&rdquo; the family source said, &ldquo;He had a normal meal Monday evening. All of sudden, his health deteriorated and he breathed his last at 12:50 am.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Koirala was born to Bodh Prasad Koirala and Kuminidi Koirala on 12 August 1939 in Banaras, India. He was unmarried and known to live a simple life.&nbsp;He served as the country&rsquo;s 37<sup>th</sup> Prime Minister from 11 February 2014 to 10 October 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">His body has been kept at the NC Headquarters in Sanepa for the party cadres and general public to pay the socialist leader the last respects.&nbsp;NC has postponed its upcoming General Convention following Koirala&rsquo;s demise. The party&rsquo;s General Secretary Prakashman Singh informed the media that the convention has been put off until further notice.<br />

In the statement, Prime Minister Oli has also requested all protesting factions to come for dialogue, citing that any kind of dispute could be resolved via talks and consensus. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa too has welcomed the front&rsquo;s announcement to call off its agitation programs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The front however has unveiled its other forms of resistance programs, despite withdrawing the tactics including border blockade and general shutdown. Its new set of programs slated to begin from 12th of February include protest rallies and assemblies, signature campaigns among others.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&ldquo;Now, the &lsquo;rainbow tourism&rsquo; led by Asian tourists is growing in the whole world. This is a concept of diversity in tourists in terms of colour, features and languages,&rdquo; said Chon.</p>

<p>He added that though the American and European tourists formed a majority of tourists visiting the Asian countries in the past, now the number of tourists from China, India and other Asian countries is rising sharply.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As the West was a major source of tourists for this area in the past, the high-level managers of our hotels would be westerners. But now we have started producing our own competent human resource required by the hospitality industry. The local human resource has to take the leadership now,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Speaking on the occasion, chief executive officer of Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi said &nbsp;China and India are not just the two most populous countries of the world but also huge markets for Nepali tourism.</p>

<p>Similarly, PATA Nepal Chapter President Suman Pandey said Nepal needs to go ahead adopting a special strategy to revive its tourism industry which has been badly hit by the April 2015 earthquakes and India&rsquo;s unofficial blockade.</p>

<p>Likewise, CEO of GATE College, Khem Lakai said as tourism played a major role in Nepal&rsquo;s economy, revival of the tourism industry meant the revival of the whole economy.</p>

<p>The workshop was attended by 200 students from nine different hotel management colleges and other stakeholders of the tourism industry.</p>

<p>Tourism Officer at ACAP, Reshmi Acharya, said that a total of 20,233 tourists from the SAARC region arrived in the trekking route in 2014 while the number from the third countries was 109,000 in the same year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&lsquo;Indian visitors top the number in the SAARC region. They arrive in the route to visit Muktinath and Kagbeni religious shrines in Mustang district&rdquo; Acharya added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the ACAP, most of the tourists visiting the trekking route in 2015 were from Germany, Australia, Israel and the USA.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The power would be linked to the central transmission line at the Kodak-based substation of Kabeli corridor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Sanima Mai Hydropower Project has already produced and linked 22 megawatt electricity to the national grid in October 2015.&nbsp;</p>

Meanwhile, sources also said that Koirala was suffering from pneumonia and bronchitis for the past three months and was on antibiotics.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;Everything was normal till Monday evening, the amount of oxygen being administrated to him was increased,&rdquo; the family source said, &ldquo;He had a normal meal Monday evening. All of sudden, his health deteriorated and he breathed his last at 12:50 am.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Koirala was born to Bodh Prasad Koirala and Kuminidi Koirala on 12 August 1939 in Banaras, India. He was unmarried and known to live a simple life.&nbsp;He served as the country&rsquo;s 37<sup>th</sup> Prime Minister from 11 February 2014 to 10 October 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">His body has been kept at the NC Headquarters in Sanepa for the party cadres and general public to pay the socialist leader the last respects.&nbsp;NC has postponed its upcoming General Convention following Koirala&rsquo;s demise. The party&rsquo;s General Secretary Prakashman Singh informed the media that the convention has been put off until further notice.<br />

In the statement, Prime Minister Oli has also requested all protesting factions to come for dialogue, citing that any kind of dispute could be resolved via talks and consensus. <p>&ldquo;Now, the &lsquo;rainbow tourism&rsquo; led by Asian tourists is growing in the whole world. This is a concept of diversity in tourists in terms of colour, features and languages,&rdquo; said Chon.</p>

<p>He added that though the American and European tourists formed a majority of tourists visiting the Asian countries in the past, now the number of tourists from China, India and other Asian countries is rising sharply.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As the West was a major source of tourists for this area in the past, the high-level managers of our hotels would be westerners. But now we have started producing our own competent human resource required by the hospitality industry. The local human resource has to take the leadership now,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Speaking on the occasion, chief executive officer of Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi said &nbsp;China and India are not just the two most populous countries of the world but also huge markets for Nepali tourism.</p>

<p>Similarly, PATA Nepal Chapter President Suman Pandey said Nepal needs to go ahead adopting a special strategy to revive its tourism industry which has been badly hit by the April 2015 earthquakes and India&rsquo;s unofficial blockade.</p>

<p>Likewise, CEO of GATE College, Khem Lakai said as tourism played a major role in Nepal&rsquo;s economy, revival of the tourism industry meant the revival of the whole economy.</p>

<p>The workshop was attended by 200 students from nine different hotel management colleges and other stakeholders of the tourism industry.</p>

<p>The ACAP said that only 10,225 tourists from the SAARC countries visited the trekking route in the year 2015 while the tourists from the third countries were more than 69,000.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Tourism Officer at ACAP, Reshmi Acharya, said that a total of 20,233 tourists from the SAARC region arrived in the trekking route in 2014 while the number from the third countries was 109,000 in the same year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&lsquo;Indian visitors top the number in the SAARC region. They arrive in the route to visit Muktinath and Kagbeni religious shrines in Mustang district&rdquo; Acharya added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the ACAP, most of the tourists visiting the trekking route in 2015 were from Germany, Australia, Israel and the USA.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A tourist visiting the round Annapurna trekking route from the SAARC region should pay Rs 2,000 while the amount is Rs 4,000 to those from the third countries. RSS&nbsp;</p>

<p>The power would be linked to the central transmission line at the Kodak-based substation of Kabeli corridor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Sanima Mai Hydropower Project has already produced and linked 22 megawatt electricity to the national grid in October 2015.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">&ldquo;Everything was normal till Monday evening, the amount of oxygen being administrated to him was increased,&rdquo; the family source said, &ldquo;He had a normal meal Monday evening. All of sudden, his health deteriorated and he breathed his last at 12:50 am.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Koirala was born to Bodh Prasad Koirala and Kuminidi Koirala on 12 August 1939 in Banaras, India. He was unmarried and known to live a simple life.&nbsp;He served as the country&rsquo;s 37<sup>th</sup> Prime Minister from 11 February 2014 to 10 October 2015.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">His body has been kept at the NC Headquarters in Sanepa for the party cadres and general public to pay the socialist leader the last respects.&nbsp;NC has postponed its upcoming General Convention following Koirala&rsquo;s demise. The party&rsquo;s General Secretary Prakashman Singh informed the media that the convention has been put off until further notice.<br />

<p>He added that though the American and European tourists formed a majority of tourists visiting the Asian countries in the past, now the number of tourists from China, India and other Asian countries is rising sharply.</p>

<p>&ldquo;As the West was a major source of tourists for this area in the past, the high-level managers of our hotels would be westerners. But now we have started producing our own competent human resource required by the hospitality industry. The local human resource has to take the leadership now,&rdquo; he said.</p>

<p>Speaking on the occasion, chief executive officer of Nepal Tourism Board, Deepak Raj Joshi said &nbsp;China and India are not just the two most populous countries of the world but also huge markets for Nepali tourism.</p>

<p>Similarly, PATA Nepal Chapter President Suman Pandey said Nepal needs to go ahead adopting a special strategy to revive its tourism industry which has been badly hit by the April 2015 earthquakes and India&rsquo;s unofficial blockade.</p>

<p>Likewise, CEO of GATE College, Khem Lakai said as tourism played a major role in Nepal&rsquo;s economy, revival of the tourism industry meant the revival of the whole economy.</p>

<p>The workshop was attended by 200 students from nine different hotel management colleges and other stakeholders of the tourism industry.</p>

<p>&lsquo;Indian visitors top the number in the SAARC region. They arrive in the route to visit Muktinath and Kagbeni religious shrines in Mustang district&rdquo; Acharya added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the ACAP, most of the tourists visiting the trekking route in 2015 were from Germany, Australia, Israel and the USA.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The power would be linked to the central transmission line at the Kodak-based substation of Kabeli corridor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Sanima Mai Hydropower Project has already produced and linked 22 megawatt electricity to the national grid in October 2015.&nbsp;</p>
