Dabur Nepal also signed an MOU with Shrestha as the brand ambassador for its brand PROstyle, reads a statement issued by the company on March 12.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Sachin Udas, head of Merchant Acquisition at Khalti, and Niket Agrawal, co-founder and CEO of BHOJ, signed the partnership agreement amidst a special ceremony organized at BHOJ head office in Kamaladi on Wednesday, March 11. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">With this partnership, BHOJ customers will be able to order their favorite food from 300+ restaurants in Kathmandu and pay using the Khalti app.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Announcing the partnership, Khalti&rsquo;s Merchant Acquisition Head Sachin Udas shared,&ldquo;Nepal&rsquo;s payment ecosystem is in the midst of a shift toward digitization. We are seeing a surge in demand for online purchases as more people are feeling at ease paying for products and services via digital channels. And, at Khalti, we are continuously evolving and innovating towards building a hassle-free digital payment ecosystem.&rdquo;</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Likewise, BHOJ&rsquo;s CEO Niket Agrawal said, &ldquo;We are glad to be partnering with Khalti and make its digital payment facility available to all our customers. Now, BHOJ customers will not have to solely depend on physical cash for making payment. With digital payments via Khalti, we expect to get rid of problems associated with cash-on-delivery.&rdquo;</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Launched in October 2015, BHOJ is a platform that connects restaurants to customers. It delivers food to customers at the table menu price of restaurants. The company has partnered with over 300 restaurants around Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. Customers can place orders for food from BHOJ&rsquo;s mobile app and website and pay from their Khalti wallet.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">Similarly, launched in January 2017, Khalti is an emerging mobile payment solution licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Arial,sans-serif">In addition to making payments at BHOJ, Khalti allows users to top-up their mobile balance, pay DTH bills, internet bills, various utility bills, book movie tickets, flight tickets, hotel rooms, top up Tootle balance, and pay at various online shopping sites in Nepal.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Priyanka Mandal of Himalayan White House International College finished second while Komal Dhakal of Subhashree College secured the third position in the contest organized by Spinz, an emerging brand in women&rsquo;s grooming products in Nepal.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Around 1000 participants from 16 colleges in Kathmandu took part in the contest, according to the organiser. One finalist from each of the 16 colleges was shortlisted for the grand finale.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The organizers said in a statement that the contestants were evaluated on the basis of their Active Quotient and their enthusiastic outlook to life.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">The finals of the event had a thrilling finish with a treasure hunt in the iconic Patan Darbar Square at Patan. This hunt saw them the girls seek clues and perform tasks in a high-adrenaline race to win the Spinz Active Girl title.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Under this partnership, Ncell will be focusing to provide three major products&mdash;Office 365 (O365), Azure and Teams to Nepali businesses.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Microsoft&rsquo;s O365 is a cloud-based service that facilitates efficiency and helps everyone in an organization to be more productive, and communicate more effectively. The Office 365 suite makes performing essential tasks like finding information, sharing knowledge, communicating with colleagues, processing data, and planning and organization faster and more straightforward, reducing time spent on administrative tasks and leaving businesses more time to create, innovate, and move the business forward, the statement said.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size:20px"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Around 1000 participants from 16 colleges in Kathmandu took part in the contest, according to the organiser. One finalist from each of the 16 colleges was shortlisted for the grand finale.</span></span></p>

			'content' => '<p>November 7: Nepal Clearing House Ltd (NCHL) has been awarded with &ldquo;Certificate of Merit&rdquo; for the year 2018 in the category Public Sector Entities under the &lsquo;SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards&rsquo;, according to a statement issued by NCHL.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The company said that the award is conferred on the basis of the evaluation administered by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) committee for Improvement in transparency, accountability and governance, of the published annual reports from South Asian Countries.&nbsp;<br />
The award will be distributed by SAFA at a ceremony on November 30 in Dhaka, Bangaladesh.<br />
The NCHL&rsquo;s annual report and disclosures was earlier recognized by the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) for BPA award in Nepal as the 1st runner-up. And then the annual report was forwarded to SAFA by ICAN for the award evaluation within the SAARC region, the statement added.<br />
NCHL said it considers the award as the recognition of its efforts being made within the industry and the demonstrated commitment towards the financial disclosures and transparencies.<br />
NCHL is a public limited company promoted by Nepal Rastra Bank, banks and financial institutions and Smart Choice Technologies Ltd for establishing multiple national payment systems in Nepal. It has been operating NCHL-ECC, NCHL-IPS and connectIPS e-Payment systems.<br />
