According to the statistics, 21,424 websites have been registered under this domain. </p> <p> Similarly, organizational websites has the second place in the registration where 4,559 entries are under the domain ‘.org.np’. The company informed that most often the websites of private-owned companies are registered under this domain. </p> <p> Statistics also show that 2,672 websites have been registered by educational institutions. This tremendous growth in the registrations of websites has hinted on a positive growth in the access of people towards internet. Suraj Adhakari, head of Website division at Mercantile Office System believes that as most of the private companies have adopted the use of website to disseminate official information, there has been tremendous growth of websites being registered. </p> <p> According to the company, 30,377 websites have been registered under the Nepali domain till the date where most of the websites are registered under the domain ‘.com.np’. According to the statistics, 21,424 websites have been registered under this domain. </p> <p> Similarly, organizational websites has the second place in the registration where 4,559 entries are under the domain ‘.org.np’. The company informed that most often the websites of private-owned companies are registered under this domain. </p> <p> Statistics also show that 2,672 websites have been registered by educational institutions.
