A total of 105 school teams are taking part in the four-day tournament that is divided into two categories U-12 and U-14. The first day of the tournament saw 24 teams of Under 12 category compete against each other at two venues: Baneshwor Futsal and National Sports Centre. The 12 teams at each venue were divided into 4 groups with 3 teams each, with the winners and runners-up progressing through to the knockout quarterfinal stage, the organisers said in a statement.</p>

<p>At Baneshwor Futsal, Pushpa Batika and Apple International progressed from Group A. Similarly Rajarshi Gurukul topped Group B and KTM Pragya Kunja qualified as runners-up. In Group C, Olympia won the group with Vidhya Sanskar finishing below it. Rosebud and KVS were first and second in Group D.</p>

<p>At National Sports Centre, GEMS hammered 5 goals past Nightingle in the first match of the day and then beat LA by 6 goals to 2 to top Group A; LA finished second by beating Nightingle 5-1. Group C was a tight affair with AVM, South Point and Pushpa Sadan all winning one game each; which meant goal difference decided the top two places that went to Pushpa Sadan and South Point respectively.Similarly Rato Bangala topped Group B and Nepal Tara qualified as runners-up. St Xavier&rsquo;s and Premier were first and second in Group D.</p>

<p>The quarterfinal match between GEMS and South Point finished 3-0 to GEMS, similarly, LA ran out easy winners over Pushpa Sadan with a score of 6-3. In the other quarterfinal between St Xavier&rsquo;s and Nepal Tara,the winner was decided through tie-breaker, with St Xavier&rsquo;s coming out on top in the end.</p>

<p>Winner from each venue will then square up against each other in the mega semifinal for a place in the final, which will be held on Friday, June 22, at Grassroot Futsal.</p>

<p>The announcement was followed by a briefing about the destination from Bikram Pandey, Honorary Consul of Greece to Nepal and Country Manager of Qatar Airways for Nepal, Jaya Prakash Nair.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;We are looking forward to further enhancing this relationship, connecting Mykonos to Qatar Airways&rsquo; extensive global network to help open up and develop these attractive destinations for business and leisure travelers from around the world,&rdquo; Nair said amid a press meet on Monday, June 18. He further said that this new service will offer more convenience to the passengers travelling to Greece and alternate choice in addition to Athens and Thessaloniki.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We appreciate Qatar Airways&rsquo; strong support for Greece. An airline of this stature will further boost Mykonos&rsquo; reputation as a leading tourist destination,&rdquo; said Pandey. Greece&#39;s economy will certainly go up by 2020 and once again the country will flourish, he further added.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Airbus A320 features 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class,&rdquo; reads a press statement issued by the airways.</p>

<p>To celebrate the launch of Qatar Airways&rsquo; flights to Mykonos, Greece, Nepal branch of &nbsp;Qatar Airways hosted a media interaction session with the Honorary Consul of Greece Bikram Pandey, and Country Manager Jaya Prakash Nair.</p>

The first day of the tournament saw 24 teams of Under 12 category compete against each other at two venues: Baneshwor Futsal and National Sports Centre. The 12 teams at each venue were divided into 4 groups with 3 teams each, with the winners and runners-up progressing through to the knockout quarterfinal stage, the organisers said in a statement.</p>

<p>At Baneshwor Futsal, Pushpa Batika and Apple International progressed from Group A. Similarly Rajarshi Gurukul topped Group B and KTM Pragya Kunja qualified as runners-up. In Group C, Olympia won the group with Vidhya Sanskar finishing below it. Rosebud and KVS were first and second in Group D.</p>

<p>At National Sports Centre, GEMS hammered 5 goals past Nightingle in the first match of the day and then beat LA by 6 goals to 2 to top Group A; LA finished second by beating Nightingle 5-1. Group C was a tight affair with AVM, South Point and Pushpa Sadan all winning one game each; which meant goal difference decided the top two places that went to Pushpa Sadan and South Point respectively.Similarly Rato Bangala topped Group B and Nepal Tara qualified as runners-up. St Xavier&rsquo;s and Premier were first and second in Group D.</p>

<p>The quarterfinal match between GEMS and South Point finished 3-0 to GEMS, similarly, LA ran out easy winners over Pushpa Sadan with a score of 6-3. In the other quarterfinal between St Xavier&rsquo;s and Nepal Tara,the winner was decided through tie-breaker, with St Xavier&rsquo;s coming out on top in the end.</p>

<p>Winner from each venue will then square up against each other in the mega semifinal for a place in the final, which will be held on Friday, June 22, at Grassroot Futsal.</p>

He further said that this new service will offer more convenience to the passengers travelling to Greece and alternate choice in addition to Athens and Thessaloniki.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We appreciate Qatar Airways&rsquo; strong support for Greece. An airline of this stature will further boost Mykonos&rsquo; reputation as a leading tourist destination,&rdquo; said Pandey. <p>At National Sports Centre, GEMS hammered 5 goals past Nightingle in the first match of the day and then beat LA by 6 goals to 2 to top Group A; LA finished second by beating Nightingle 5-1. Group C was a tight affair with AVM, South Point and Pushpa Sadan all winning one game each; which meant goal difference decided the top two places that went to Pushpa Sadan and South Point respectively.Similarly Rato Bangala topped Group B and Nepal Tara qualified as runners-up. <p>The quarterfinal match between GEMS and South Point finished 3-0 to GEMS, similarly, LA ran out easy winners over Pushpa Sadan with a score of 6-3. In the other quarterfinal between St Xavier&rsquo;s and Nepal Tara,the winner was decided through tie-breaker, with St Xavier&rsquo;s coming out on top in the end.</p>

<p>Winner from each venue will then square up against each other in the mega semifinal for a place in the final, which will be held on Friday, June 22, at Grassroot Futsal.</p>

			'content' => '<p>June 19: Qatar Airways announced the launch of its flight to Mykonos, Greece on Monday, June 18.</p>

<p>Qatar Airways said it will operate flights from Doha to Mykonos four times a week with Airbus A320. The airline company currently operates three flights a day to Athens, and four flights a week to Thessaloniki, Greece.</p>

<p>The announcement was followed by a briefing about the destination from Bikram Pandey, Honorary Consul of Greece to Nepal and Country Manager of Qatar Airways for Nepal, Jaya Prakash Nair.</p>

<p>&nbsp;&ldquo;We are looking forward to further enhancing this relationship, connecting Mykonos to Qatar Airways&rsquo; extensive global network to help open up and develop these attractive destinations for business and leisure travelers from around the world,&rdquo; Nair said amid a press meet on Monday, June 18. He further said that this new service will offer more convenience to the passengers travelling to Greece and alternate choice in addition to Athens and Thessaloniki.</p>

<p>&ldquo;We appreciate Qatar Airways&rsquo; strong support for Greece. An airline of this stature will further boost Mykonos&rsquo; reputation as a leading tourist destination,&rdquo; said Pandey. Greece&#39;s economy will certainly go up by 2020 and once again the country will flourish, he further added.</p>

<p>&ldquo;Airbus A320 features 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy Class,&rdquo; reads a press statement issued by the airways.</p>

<p>To celebrate the launch of Qatar Airways&rsquo; flights to Mykonos, Greece, Nepal branch of &nbsp;Qatar Airways hosted a media interaction session with the Honorary Consul of Greece Bikram Pandey, and Country Manager Jaya Prakash Nair.</p>

<p>At the briefing, Nair highlighted the award-winning airline&rsquo;s robust expansion plans, as well as its commitment in bringing more travelers to Nepal from&nbsp; Greece, connecting Mykonos to its extensive global network via the award-winning Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha. The newly-launched seasonal service to Greece&rsquo;s most popular island will operate a four-times-weekly service from Doha.</p>

<p>The beautiful island of Mykonos is the third Greek destination in Qatar Airways&rsquo; rapidly expanding global network. Seasonal direct service to the Greek island will be operated four times a week by Airbus A320 until September 30 this season.</p>
